Do you see the similarity of this with the scriptures in the Bible? Men can do anything except what is expressly forbidden, but women CAN DO ONLY THOSE THINGS THAT ARE EXPRESSLY ALLOWED.
Because there is no record of a woman standing behind a wooden pulpit in Paul's day, women are forbidden to preach behind a pulpit. Because Paul did not expressly say that women could be deacons, women are forbidden today.
Ignored is the complete freedom that Jesus gave women, and the responsibilities that Paul himself allowed women in his churches.
Because the scripture does not have the exact wording of a woman preaching or deaconing, women are denied today.
Will you help pastors and women recognize the love of Christ for his followers and to quit harping on what women cannot do - because through Christ, she can!
Women's equality has nothing to do with that demonized word "feminism" but has everything to do with the word "love" and "equality."
